It seems that everyone has finished reading the final Harry Potter book. I wanted to listen to the final one as I had all of the others.  As usual, Jim Dale does an incredible job of bringing characters to life.  There were many times during his telling that I would cry, laugh, or gasp in shock.  I was pleased with the ending and sad with all the deaths.  I loved how everything wrapped up and I am going to miss hearing about the adventures of Harry and his friends.

Before listening to this book, I did not consider listening to an audio book as reading.  However, the quality of the performance and the fact that it made me feel as though I have good company made me change my mind about audio books.  While I still enjoy a hard copy, paper version of books, with my limited time and crazy schedule, audio books are a good way for me to get some reading in when I otherwise would not be able to do so.  Plus, the voices that the characters spoke in helped me visualise them and their surroundings.

Recommend to a friend: YES!
