Amazing Things Happen at the 11th hour
My mother arrived LATE today. She got in about 7pm, but I was so glad to have her here that I was not too upset about the delay. I managed to make recipe number 11 which is Mexican Pumpkin soup. Beth, Corrie, and Joe got most of it. I cleaned out the closet which gave me lots of bags full of things to donate. I cleaned my bathroom and changed my sheets. Unfortunately, I could not go through all the piles of things, so that will remain for tomorrow. I got lots of good wishes and encouraging thoughts. I drank a lot of water to help my veins not be so hard to get a needle into and I finished all my laundry.
Now my mother is brushing her teeth. I only have 45 minutes before I have to officially begin fasting. It certainly feels like the 11th hour. This time when you are alone with your thoughts and find yourself hoping that the things you are wishing on really are stars and not misplaced planets. That all the decisions you made were the right ones and on and on. You also feel braver to ask AGAIN for good thoughts and vibes. The thoughts being courage for me and good skills to my surgeons. Patience and kindess to my mother. Thankfulness to all of you who treat me so well.
I forgot to get someone to write an entry that says I came through surgery okay. I imagine that some of the local peeps will be in touch with me tomorrow and I will ask them to post something in the comments.
Meanwhile may your sleep be good and my your feet take you to wonderful places.
