Today is the last day of November which means that I have officially qualified for prizes through NaBloPoMo.  Please keep your fingers crossed for me.  This also means that my finals are two weeks away, so I will be blogging much less as I prepare for them. 

The last link of the month that I am leaving you with is a new blog. One that was started by my very own G-love.  Brunch Babes chronicles her and her friend Stacy's quest to find good brunch in the Atlanta area.  Each entry is a review of a restaurant and at the end of the review are different categories.  The reviews are informative and helpful. If you like drooling and feeling jealous while at your computer, this is the place for you.  Of course, if you are ever in the Atlanta area, there are some good recommendations on this site.

Normally, I have a six hour break in the middle of my day where I come home, work, and nap.  Sometimes, I skip the work.  With classes ending very quickly, I needed to get a lot of work done today. I stayed on campus all day which made me feel very tired.  Mr. Sublet picked me up and I treated myself to some fresh fruit which are relatives of clementines; I cannot remember the exact name and I already misplaced the receipt.  Anyway, I love having the bright color in my apartment.

Today's site is from Tom, also known as Sonja's husband.  He does book reviews at birdlashes.  I always knew that he was smart and interesting because Sonja would not marry anything less. However, after reading his reviews, I think he is brilliant.  He has a thoughtful approach to reviewing books; he begins by giving you background on how it came into his hands and information on the genre.  If you are really lucky, he compares the current book to other works by the author. Plus, you get previews of what is coming up next.  It's like coming attractions for book reviews. 

Being back at law school is ROUGH.  The hardest thing of all is facing the amount of work waiting for me.  Unexpectedly, I am homesick for MD. I do miss vegging out with my dad even if I had to endure huge helpings of unwanted comments about my weight.  On the plus side, my dad's pathology report came back and everything looks good.  The cancer was confined to the prostate gland and the surrounding areas are clean. He has a follow up appointment on Thursday and I am hoping he will continue to get more good news.

It seems only fitting that today's site deals with law school.  Useless Dicta is a hilarious and frank look at the challenge of keeping your sanity during law school. I only found the blog recently, but it has been making me laugh out loud and nod my head in agreement.
