How did I end up watching this movie?
I noticed that Ben had given this movie a very high rating on his Netflix profile. The plot looked interesting and I added it to my queue. It arrived just before I left Seattle for the summer. 

Which character did I like best in the movie?

I did not have a favorite character. The two main characters both had endearing qualities, but I found myself wanting to shake them for not acting on their impulses stronger.   

What was my favorite quote from the movie?

Since the movie had subtitles, it is hard to know if the words were translated accurately. Plus, there is not much dialogue.  The soundtrack was lovely and featured the only song I remember learning from my high school Spanish class.

What will stick with me from the movie?

The subtle technique used to move the plot forward. I appreciated that you had to pay close attention to notice a difference in emotion.  The actors did an incredible job of portraying pain and lust by changing their facial expressions.

If I could change one thing about the movie, what would it be?
This is something I would change about Netflix. According to their site and the movie sleeve, the running time was only 97 minutes. However, the movie is over two hours.  This is very annoying when trying to plan an evening.

Who would enjoy this movie?
Those who appreciate beautiful scenery and a good soundtrack would enjoy this movie.

Which screen is this movie best viewed on?
The bigger, the better.

Since the movie is not very well known; here is a plot summary from IMDB:

Set in Hong Kong, 1962, Chow Mo-Wan is a newspaper editor who moves into a new building with his wife. At approximately the same time, Su Li-zhen, a beautiful secretary and her executive husband also move in to the crowded building. With their spouses often away, Chow and Li-zhen spend most of their time together as friends. They have everything in common from noodle shops to martial arts. Soon, they are shocked to discover that their spouses are having an affair. Hurt and angry, they find comfort in their growing friendship even as they resolve not to be like their unfaithful mates.
