an orgy of conversation! > inaugurating your new discussion board

Hi! I am happy to be your first discussion-board message leaver. I look forward to reading your thoughts and ideas on your new web site! It looks pretty with your "art a la Ben Moy" and will be a neat open journal to your mind.

Er... actually Sonja, I beat you to the punch, since I left that first message when I made the board! TAKE THAT!
February 25, 2004 | Unregistered CommenterBen
Maaaan! I thought that the "your name here" thing was an example to coax folks to leave a message. I didn't realize I should click on it and that it WAS a message. Foiled. I'll have my day though, Moy.

WoW! Thanks for the comments and the discussion. You two are such good friends. Sonja, you should come to MD for the birthday party at my parents house.

you are like a walking advertisement for your birthday party. Did you send Sonja an e-invitation?
Oh yeah, whenever you (Jaspreet) or I (Ben) are logged into the website and leave a comment or discussion board... comment, it always says by "[your name here]". So log out before leaving comments if you want to not be anonymous, or just sign your comments like so
-ben

or something. I'll try and make it say Jaspreet or BEASTMOMMA when you log in. I have to figure that out later (when you're less likely to be signed in and writing stuff).
er... -ben

I did send her the evite. Someone has to advertise for me. I did not understand your directions-- what elas is new?

I did get your e-vite. I will talk it over with Tom and we shall see, but I'm not sure we will be able to come, though I know it will be fun and I'll be celebrating with you in spirit if I'm not there.

I know a song about being 27. Do you?
February 25, 2004 | Unregistered Commentersonja
what song is that? "When I'm 64"?
February 25, 2004 | Unregistered CommenterBen
I do not know that song. What is it?

Jaspreet: It turns out that Tom and I have to rent a pickup truck that weekend and drive it to Ohio to assist Tom's parents with moving into their new house. BUT, Tom agrees that the Southern Swing is high priority on our travel list, and we will do it BEFORE October's vacation day renewal. Maybe May or around my B-day in August. I owe you a visit now that you've finally seen the Burgh!

He was born in the summer of his 27th year
Comin? home to a place he?d never been before
He left yesterday behind him, you might say he was born again
You might say he found a key for every door

When he first came to the mountains his life was far away
On the road and hangin? by a song
But the string?s already broken and he doesn?t really care
It keeps changin? fast and it don?t last for long

But the colorado rocky mountain high
I?ve seen it rainin? fire in the sky
The shadow from the starlight is softer than a lullabye
Rocky mountain high... rocky mountain high...

I just thought I'd break up the trio to let you know there are other website admirers! GREAT job Ben. I think you are a worthy rival in the "Who Admires Jaspreet Most" crusade. I'm going to have to sharpen my skills! I have no witty words of wisdom or contemplation at this moment.... much sharpening needed!

Thanks Texas people and so on (whoever you are). For so long I would try to get Jaspreet to make a page like this, knowing it would be interesting, and she kept saying "I wouldn't know what to say." But I KNEW if I made this she would write! She always has so much to get off of her chest!

By the way, check out my album! (by which I mean http://neumunki.squarespace.com) I just wanted to quote Missy Elliott somehow... Actually check out all her links! And if you all have websites, stick em up here! SPREAD THE LOVE!
