Transformers

I had heard lots of good things about Transformers.  I enjoyed the cartoon when I was little, but remained skeptical of seeing the movie.  With all the rave reviews my friends were delivering, I decided to give it a chance.  The first hour of the movie had enough funny moments with clever dialogue that the cheesiness factor was diminished.  The last hour, I was restless, bored, and thinking, "Who said this movie was REALLY good?"  The delicious movie popcorn I treated myself to was the best part of the experience.

Which Screen: Small Screen. Although, you could live a very happy life without seeing the movie at all.

I am dissenting. I think I was the one who told you that it was a great movie, and I stand by my report. It was a little bit long toward the end though...

I respect your opinion, but I just did not care for it as much as you did.

Yo, I grew up a big Transformers fan. I love giant robots. I AM JAPANESE!!! And despite all of this, I stand by you, J-dawg. This movie stunk like a redneck's laundry pile after a summer rain. The pacing was awful, the directing horrendous. You couldn't tell what was going on in the fight scenes. I mean... how can you make a movie about GIANT ROBOTS become a long boring YAWNNNN? Only Michael Bay knows that secret recipe. I thought Shia Lebouf was good in it, though.

Thank you Ben!! I loved the Transformers as a kid as well which is why I wanted to punch the director. I could not figure out how you can ruin such brilliant subject matter.
