Giveaway!!!
I finally joined the cool club of giving things away on my blog. Currently, I have TWO copes of Written on the Body by Jeanette Winterson to giveaway. You can read my review of the book here. One copy has a list of characters written on the front cover and the other copy has some passages underlined. Both copies were read in earnest.
You have two chances to win. All you have to do is to answer two questions in the comments section of this post. The contest will run from now until Monday, October 20th.
In the spirit of the U.S. election and VeganMoFo, here are the questions:
1. If applicable, where are you registered to vote and will you do absentee voting, early voting, or go to a polling place to vote on election day?
2. What is one food you would like to find new recipes for?
Alternate question (answer this one only if one of the above questions do not apply to you):
3. If you were to run for elected office, what would you use as your campaign slogan?

Funny story (maybe?) about me voting... In Missouri, you always get an "I VOTED!" sticker so when I went to my first vote in Mass, I asked about my sticker. They looked at me like I was nuts. I felt foolish and sad. So, nope, not really funny. Do you get stickers where you live?
2. I need new cooking inspiration in general.
*I've read "Written on the Body," (and do have a copy of it), and love it!
2. What is one food you would like to find new recipes for? Zucchini, kale, beans.. everything!

Answer to Qustion #1: I am a registered voter in the state of Florida and I will be going to my designated polling place on election day!
