The Sunday Salon #6

The Sunday Salon.com

I am very slow with completing books this semester, so I thought that it would be fun to have a progress report of my reading.  This is an online reading group where all the participants set aside time to read every Sunday and blog about the experience.

I am taking a break from finishing up my brief to say that I could only read in brief today.  << I crack myself up!  Anyway, I finally started St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves which is the March/April selection over at Planet Books.  I have read the first story “Ava Wrestles The Alligator” which was interesting, but I do not think I fully understood everything.  I like the vivid imagery even if the images visit my dreams in unpleasant ways afterwards.  Sonja and her sister both recommended the book and I am looking forward to seeing how the other stories unfold.

Hee! you cracked me up too :-D I can't wait to hear more about St Lucy's; I've heard of that book before, but never enough to get a sense of it.
