What's in a Name Two
I had so much fun participating in the original challenge that I decided to join again this year. Since I swapped out so many books last year, I decided to leave the categories open. I may fill them in when I return to Seattle and have full access to my bookshelf. For now, I like the way it seems like my possibilities are endless. Next year the new Challenge is to read one book from each of 6 different categories between January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009:
A book with a “profession” in its title. Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood. I finished this in February; even though the challenge is officially over, I still want to finish. You can read my review here.
A book with a “time of day” in its title. Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon. I finished the selection in November 2009. You can read my review here.
A book with a “relative” in its title. The Japanese Wife by Kunal Basu you can read my review here.
A book with a “body part” in its title. Their Eyes were Watching Godby Zora Neal Hurston. You can find my review here.
A book with a “building” in its title. House and Home by Kathleen McCleary; I finished it on September 1st. You can read my review here.
A book with a “medical condition” in its title. Blindsight by Robin Cook; I finished the book sometime in October, I think. However, I posted my review in November and you can read it here.
