Booking Through Thursday: Books vs. Movies
Suggested by: Superfastreader:
Books and films both tell stories, but what we want from a book can be different from what we want from a movie. Is this true for you? If so, what’s the difference between a book and a movie?
***************************************************************************
I look to both books and movies for an escape, an adventure, and a learning experience. Of course, I do not want all of those things at the same time. The biggest difference in what I look for in movies that I do not look for in books is that I need to enjoy the visual effects. In movies, camera angles, lighting and music impact the way I enjoy the picture. In books, I provide those things and my imagination does more of the work.
