Dan In Real Life

I decided to take a study break today. Dude and I went to see Dan in Real Life.  I thought the movie was going to be cute.  Instead, I found myself laughing and crying. It was hysterical and touching.  It is a story about a single dad whose wife died four years ago. He is struggling to raise his kids and meets a woman. There are some complications.  It was such a good reminder of how tough it can be to be a good parent and to make sure your own needs are filled.  This was the perfect study break movie.

Which Screen: Whichever one will let you see the movie faster!

Pete and I saw "Dan In Real Life" over the Thanksgiving weekend and we both equally LOVED it. Just a wonderfully acted and enjoyable movie. We laughed, I cried, and we hugged throughout the movie (which we don't usually do in public). Steve Carrel (sp?) is one of our favorite actors and he was superb. Juliet Binoch (sp?) was awesome and Dane Cook impressed the hell out of us.
I'm glad you enjoyed it too!

I want to see it again because I think I missed some things because I was laughing so loudly.

Steve Carrell is one of my favorites but I did not get out to see this movie. I'll have to get it from Netflix. It sounds really good.

I did not see this movie but i heard it was okay. BUt also everyone I know, myself included, thinks that Dane Cook could not be set on fire fast enough.

I think you would like this movie Ben; I do not think it will make your top ten. You would probably find it bearable because you are much picker than me.
